Boone Thomas Templeton

has landed...

the cutest little guy made his arrival on his due date, 5.23.  prompt, like his dad.

8 pounds 1 oz.  21.75 inches long.  tall and skinny, like his dad.

at his two week appt he gained weight like a champ.  he was up to 9 pounds and 6 oz.  weight went strait to his face,  just like his dad.

he is all dad.  however, if you look at our baby photos.  he is all mom :)

stats @ 2 weeks:
weight: 9.6 lbs 80%
length: 21.75 in 93%
head: 38 cm 96%

he is perfect.  i know, i know, all moms say that, but i can't help myself.  he is better than your baby.  just kidding.  but really, i think he is super advanced.  i swear he laughed at me this morning and it wasn't gas.  and that is enough of that, i am not going to be one of those parents who brags about her kid all the time...at least not to your face, walker and i will save that for dinner.  every single night.

walker knows nothing about babies.  he is doing a great job, however his questions and statements worry me/drive me crazy - i actually pretend i can't hear him.  it's like 20 questions everyday. por ejemplo:

"we should let him cry it out..."
on day three, "can i take him to the office and show him off?"
"how far can he see? can he see colors?  do you think he knows who i am?"
"when will he hold his head up, crawl, walk, talk, sit, stand, jump..."
"i wish i could breastfeed because i feel like he loves you more"
in the same conversation "when can i feed him chili?"
"i think it is unnatural that he is in a diaper 24/7, i am going to sit him naked on the couch for a while to air out his butt.."

hmmmmm.

here are a few first week pictures iphone pictures:

oh! i was a mom and an aunt in the same week!  Jaxon James Lofton arrived on 5/20.  cousins, three days apart.  so sweet... i love him. i can't wait to meet him and watch boone and jax arm wrestle.
